10.23.06– Virtual Driver Interactive Expands Operations—Opens New Office in Washington D.C. Area
Alexandria, VA . - Virtual Driver Interactive (VDI), provider of driver improvement simulation systems for corporations and communities, today announced that it is opening a new office in Alexandria Virginia to meet a growing demand for its systems amongst federal agencies based in D.C.
VDI is expanding its reach to the D.C. area in order to meet a growing interest among government agencies in both its STREETReady teen driver training curriculum and its Virtual DDC curriculum for corporate employees and fleet drivers.
"This new location in Alexandria will allow us to offer our systems to schools and government organizations looking to address the growing driver safety issue," said Bob Davis, CEO and president of Virtual Driver Interactive. "A simulator will be housed at this office, enabling government officials to see first-hand how VDI's curriculum saves lives while saving taxpayer dollars."
Traffic accidents are the number one cause of fatalities among American workers and the number one cause of death among teens, ages 16 to 19 year old. To help lower these statistics, VDI systems train users how to handle dangerous situations without putting them in danger.
The new VDI office address is:
1940 Duke Street, 2nd Floor
Alexandria, VA 22314
